| Note:
In Hawaii, each island has several designated hunting areas (units).
These are open for hunting at various times during any single year.
Seasons may be shortened, lengthened or deleted in any particular
year or location in response to game population sizes or new hunting
areas opened and new seasons declared. In some instances special permits,
available only by lottery, are required. Because the Hawaiian system
is so complicated, we will only list species available statewide.
Varies in each zone. |
