| Note:
Any big game tag may be used for another species of equal or lesser
value, but a tag can only be used once. Most hunts in the state are
general or registration permit hunts, for which there are no fees
and few, if any, limits on the number of hunters. For the (less common)
drawing hunts, appropriate fees apply and the application deadline
is May 31. |
| Note:
Guides are required for aliens to hunt any big game animals. Nonresidents
must hire a guide to hunt sheep, brown/grizzly bears or mountain goats
unless accompanied by a resident relative of at least 19 years of
age, within the second degree of kinship. |
